I doubt anyone still checks my lj, but I've recently re-installed the Sims 2 and I couldn't help but default some stuff :^) Some things were requested on GoS, and some other stuff is just things I defaulted for myself. Pls excuse the lazy previews, I couldn't really be bothered to go in-game.

Hiya guys! I had a couple of hair replacements lying around, so here's a small dump :)



This one was a request by mikexx2, a long while ago. The recolors are by yaymiki can be found here. They're maxis match, not pooklet'd. Replaces just the female version.

I made this one for myself, because that hat really bothered me.. Mesh by Nouk, pooklet'd by pinket.

I've used this hair by evan to replace something before, but this one makes a lot more sense, cos you know, the hair has 4 different hat colors, which I could all replace.

This one matches the teen through elder replacements I did for the propeller hair. I didn't think I could replace the kids' version, because it's the same for both boys and girls, but luckily, I could. I really want to do the male version as well (for all ages), but haven't decided on a replacement hair yet. Suggestions are very welcome :D

Lastly, a toddler hair replacement. This one is just for boys. I'm planning to replace all toddler hairs, because I hate them with a passion. I just have to figure out which my favorite toddler hairs are..

So I finally got to go see Brandon Flowers 2 days ago, and it was freaking amazeballs! And the opening was done by Fran Healy from Travis, so wow. Too bad it was a couple of hours away (which is rare for me, because most concerts are right here in Amsterdam). Anyhoo, I only had my iphone for picture taking, so here's a real crappy one:

Man, The Killers are the awesomest band. I wish they were all there. O well, next time probably.

OK, so I didn't actually make an object, but I did convert it from TS3. But still, pretty exciting, right? I was just trying to see if I could, with CiJ coming up and everything :)

But yeah, I ended up with this :D

Pff, I made it just in time! I wasn't sure I was 'till about 2 hours ago, and I have to admit I'm not 100% happy with these, but they're up!

I gave the Good Genes challenge a go :D I completely failed the previous one, but this time it did work out. I hadn't really played Maxis sims in a while, since they've long died out in my 'hood, but some of them really do have nice genes! I put myself in a difficult position by choosing Donat over his brother, but I just had to keep those ears!
